I discovered (as in traversed regularly and got into) the indieweb not too long ago, just after the fall of geocities (which I guess was over five years ago now...) and when I first encountered shrines, I expected crudely coded, symmetrically aligned, linked-together messed-up art installations that looked like, well, shrines. ummmm turns out it's not that. So in case you're new to this now, it's mostly informational lots of words about hobbies and media, not psuedo-religious html-fuelled circles and spirals alike. but occasionally I do encounter a piece of media that I love so much but there's absolutely nothing I can say that feels original or even close to okay, and then I might code up a symmetrical tribute or something. You won't be able to see it right now though, because everything is under construction. insert under construction divider here. anyway this wall of text wasn't supposed to be here at all, I'm just avoiding sleeping, coding, getting up, turning off the lights. it's 11:21 right now and I just kind of want to rant. like I have a blog for that... but I'm here now. and so are you, if you're reading this. it's actually the same css file as the blog but since the blog isn't linked anywhere, this is the only place it's active that's accessible without directly keying urls in. I'd give you a gold star but I forgot the filename for the gold stars. so take one spiritually. here you go ( + ) that's your star. link back to me every time you use a goddamn plus sign that'll be really fun for the maths textbooks
