It's been a crazy couple days. I don't know if soomething's happening or anything, but I started this site, I got my first css file up and running, and it wasn't enough, I guess. I pierced both my ears and my nose in the bathroom with safety pins, over two nights. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I don't even want piercings, I don't own any earrings or nose rings. It's been, I think, a couple months now that my hobbies haven't really interested me. I had an old site, under an old email, that burnt out in under a week. I'm hoping that doesn't happen here, but this is a fair warning, I hope. I don't think I'm depressed, because I'm not sad or unusually hopeless or listless, I'm much better than I was two years ago, I'm close to looking like I have my shit together, but I digress: let's talk about the ocean.
Yesterday, by way of preplanned trip, I dropped by the shore with a few others. I found a horseshoe crab carapace and multiple tails, as well as so, so many crab claws. I now have a horseshoe crab carapace and multiple crab claws, on my shelf. Am I going to do anything with them? No, probably, but they're cool as fuck. I'll attach images when I feel like taking pictures.
It's a little eerie to go to the beach off-season. There are very few people there, and those that are there feel off, like they've been teleported from a warmer part of the world, or badly pasted in. I don't like the beach, but it was quite interesting, then. Maybe someday I'll make something of any of this.
